Recommended use or purpose:

Contains herbs traditionally used in Herbal Medicine to relieve dyspepsia (indigestion) and constipation.

Cautions and Warnings 

Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you 1) are taking thiazide diuretics, corticosteroids, licorice root or other medications or health products which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance 2) have a kidney disorder or are taking cardiac medications such as cardiac glycosides or antiarrhythmic medications 3) have faecal impaction or symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting or fever. Keep out of reach of children. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen.

Contra-Indications 

Do not use if you 1) are pregnant or breastfeeding 2) are allergic to anethole or plants of the Apiaceae/carrot family 3) have abnormal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract, potential or existing intestinal blockage, atonic bowel, appendicitis, acute stomach irritation/inflammation, stomach or duodenal ulcer, inflammatory colon disease (e.g. Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis), abdominal pain of unknown origin, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, severe dehydration with depleted water or electrolytes, haemorrhoids or diarrhoea.

Known Adverse Reactions 

Hypersensitivity has been known to occur, in which case, discontinue use. Do not exceed recommended dosage. Laxative effect may occur. Discontinue use if you experience abdominal pain, cramps, spasms and/or diarrhoea.
