Consumption with other caffeine-containing products (eg. medications, coffee, tea, colas, cocoa, guarana, maté) is not recommended. Consult a health care practitioner if you are of childbearing age. Consult a health care practitioner immediately if you experience chest pain, vomiting, or difficulty in swallowing or breathing after taking this product. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking medications which inhibit peristaltic movement (eg. opioids, loperamide). Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting or fever (as these could be signs of abnormal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract, diseases of the oesophagus and/or the superior opening of the stomach (cadia), potential or existing intestinal blockage, paralysis of the intestine, megacolon, faecal impaction, inflamed bowel or appendicitis). Do not use if you are experiencing a sudden change in bowel habits that has persisted for more than 2 weeks, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, or failure to defecate following the use of another laxative. Do not use if you have difficulty swallowing. May cause temporary gas and/or bloating. Do not use if you are allergic to anethole or plants of the Apiaceae/Carrot family. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond duration 4 weeks. Take 2 hours before or after taking other medications. Hypersensitivity, such as allergy, has been known to occur following inhaled and/or ingested psyllium; in which case, discontinue use. Do not use if you have gall bladder disorders, and/or bowel obstruction. Do not use if you have diabetes. Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if you experience symptoms of hypoglycaemia including feelings of anxiety, dizziness, tremor, sweating nausea or headache. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have high testosterone levels. May cause gassiness, headache, mild nausea and sleeplessness. If you have a liver disorder, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. Stop use if you develop symptoms of liver trouble such as yellowing of the skin/eyes (jaundice), stomach pain, dark urine, sweating, nausea, unusual tiredness and/or loss of appetite and consult a health care practitioner.Contra-Indications Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking medication for diabetes, and thyroid.Known Adverse Reactions Caffeine may cause tachycardia (rapid heart rate), insomnia, restlessness and headache. Do not use if you have liver or gall bladder disorders, and/or bowel obstruction. Discontinue use if you develop symptoms of liver trouble. Hypersensitivity, such as allergy, has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use. Rare, unpredictable cases of liver injury associated with green tea extract-containing products have been reported (in Canada and internationally).
